Welcome to our Website

Aims of the Society:   To encourage, improve and extend the cultivation of gardens and to arrange lectures and visits to places of horticultural interest.

The Bognor Regis & District Horticultural Society meet on the fourth Thursday of most months in the Jubilee Hall, Chalcraft Lane, Bognor Regis at 7.30pm, when Speakers are engaged to talk on matters mainly horticultural. 

There is a Show Table at each meeting for members to exhibit anything they have grown or made, to be judged by fellow members or visiting speakers.  Points are gained and a cup is given for the most number of points won throughout the year. This will be awarded at our Annual General Meeting.  This competition is most popular.

Every year in June, we hold an evening show for members to show their prowess in roses, sweet peas etc. This year there will also be an Autumn Show in September.

OUTINGS FOR 2012
Thursday 14th June - 2pm	Visit to Fittleworth Garden.  Mark Saunders will give us a conducted tour of the garden followed by refreshments. Cost £5.00
Wednesday 4th July - 11.30am	Visit to Parham Gardens, looking at wild flowers with David Donovan.  Bring a picnic lunch if you wish.  the main garden opens at 2pm and costs £6.00 for entry (£6.00 for seniors) or free if you are an RHS member.  (Please bring your RHS membership card)
Thursday 30th August - 2.30pm	Visit to Tuppenny Barn.  Main Road, Southbourne, PO10 8EZ. Conducted tour and refreshments. Cost £5.00
